Cora Würmell is curator for the Japanese and Chinese Porcelain holdings of the Porzellansammlung, Staatliche Kunstsammlungen in Dresden. She has been a practicing ceramicist and has written her MA thesis on contemporary Japanese ceramics. Currently, she is working as project leader for the international research project on the East Asian royal porcelain holdings of the Porzellansammlung Dresden, the Dresden Porcelain Project.
