Eline van den Berg
Based in Rome, Eline van den Berg works as an independent curator/researcher of Asian ceramics. She is project leader of the Dutch collaboration of Asian Ceramics and part of the editorial board. From 2015 to 2022, she has worked as curator of Asian ceramics at the Princessehof National Museum of Ceramics (NL). During that time, she has developed several major exhibitions, including ‘Sunken Treasures’ (2019-2020) and ‘Korea: Gateway to a rich past’ (2021-2022) as well as the redevelopment of the permanent galleries. She is a member of the TEFAF vetting committee for Asian export art. As a member of the Royal Asian Art Society in the Netherlands (Vereniging van Vrienden der Aziatische Kunst, ‘KVVAK’), she is involved in the organisation of the biennial Young Scholars’ Symposium. Eline completed an MA in Asian art and archaeology, specialising in Asian/ Chinese ceramics, at Leiden University and SOAS, University of London.
