In front a partially naked sleeping figure, alongside a man covered by a blanket. A man leaning on a staff at right is watching them; another man is leaning against the tree. In the background a crystal-shaped boulder. Around the rim a band with fine flower and foliate scrolls in gold. The print source of this rare chine de commande representation is unknown. Hervouët has suggested that it shows Christ discovering his sleeping disciples (Matthew 26:43).
